Expanding the electorate with voter registration & mobilization
ACRONYM is a nonprofit organization committed to building power and digital infrastructure for the progressive movement. They are focused on advancing progressive causes through communications, advertising, and organizing programs.
I designed landing pages and flows for a targeted media programs to register young, BIPOC communities to vote and get them to the polls for the November 2020 election.

Voter Registration Landing Pages
On the landing pages, visitors are encouraged to check their voter registration status and register to vote. Once registered, they are directed to make a plan to vote, where the system provides them with their polling location, ballot details, and request for mail in voting ballot.
From there, visitors are encouraged to get people in their social network registered to vote and to make a vote plan. Users can track the progress of their mobilization efforts by viewing the contacts they've checked voter registration status for and reached out to. Within each registered contact, the system provides the voter's likelihood to vote and party affiliation, which serves to help inform the user’s messaging strategy.
In 2020, this program generated roughly 38,000 online registrations and 7,300 vote plan completions.

In laying out the UI, I discovered many of the illustrative elements would rely on the red-white-blue color scheme. I opted for variation on this palette and used typography to convey an approachable, contemporary brand.
